What does It Mean?
"Snowflake" is a slang or disparaging term for persons who act as if they are unique from the rest of the world and, as a result, deserve special treatment or privileges. In recent years, the term has primarily been applied to sensitive and easily offended people. (More on this later.)
Snowflake initially meant a snow particle that fell from the sky. However, this is an earlier form because, thanks to the internet, the word snowflake now has a larger perspective and meaning.
Have you ever gotten a close look at a snowflake? It's incredibly delicate, as it's made up of delicate ice particles linked together. It will distort if you touch it too hard, which is true of a snowflake person. Such a person is compassionate and cannot tolerate any harshness or hatred. They would rather be the centre of attention than anyone else.

The Story Behind Snowflake
It all began in the late 1800s when Americans decided that calling white people who supported slavery Snowflakes would be an excellent idea. The buck did not stop there, though.
Let's fast forward a hundred years. The term 'Snowflake' was once again popular in the late 1900s. Until this time, members of the black community utilized it to call out other blacks who pretended to be white.
'Snowflake' managed to get active in politics in the 2010s. This time, followers of political parties started using the word to irritate others who supported opposing parties.
Anyone who was easily offended was known as a Snowflake in this context. Even if we fast forward to 2022, the meaning remains the same.
