Billionaire Romance

I’ve Lived Most of My Life Working This Land in Montana, and I Wouldn’t Change Much About It

My name is Jamie Willians, I’m 55, and this ranch in Montana has been my home for as long as I can remember.

I didn’t build it all at once. It came together over the years, slowly. One section at a time, improving what I could, fixing what needed attention, and learning as I went. I never had a big plan to turn it into anything large. I just focused on keeping things working and moving forward.

Most mornings start the same way. I wake up early, usually out of habit, and go straight outside. The animals come first. I raise horses, and they take most of my time. Along with them, I’ve got chickens, a couple of dogs, and a few other animals that ended up here over time.

I grow part of what I eat. Vegetables mainly, and a bit of fruit when the conditions are right. It’s not about producing a lot, just enough to keep things steady. I’ve always preferred doing things at a pace I can handle on my own.

There’s a river that runs through the property, and I spend some time there whenever I can. Usually after I’ve taken care of everything else. It’s one of the few places where I just sit and don’t feel the need to do anything.

I go into town now and then. Over time, I got to know some people there, especially a few older residents who don’t have much support. I bring them whatever I have extra — vegetables, eggs, things like that. It started without much thought and just became something I kept doing.

I handle most things myself, including cooking. Meals are simple and depend on what I have available. After so many years, it’s just part of how I live.

I never married. It wasn’t something I actively avoided, but it also never became a priority. Life here kept me busy, and I stayed focused on the ranch. There were a few chances along the way, but nothing that turned into something permanent.

These days, I’m comfortable with how things are. I don’t feel like I need to change my life. But I do think it would be good to share it with someone.

Nothing complicated. Just someone around my age, who understands this kind of environment and is comfortable living this way. Someone who doesn’t mind quiet days, animals around, and a routine that follows the seasons.

I’m not looking through apps or anything like that. If it happens, it happens naturally.

For now, I keep doing what I’ve always done. Taking care of the land, the animals, and the work that comes with it. It’s a steady life, and it’s worked for me. If someone becomes part of it someday, there’s room for that.
